Brief History   

The block where the Café is located has a long history. The current café/grocery store building was built in 1948 from the lumber of a large turn of the century abandoned house, located outside of town. The store was a mercantile/grocery store for the first 35 years. It was owned by the Marvel family and then the Looney family. In 1982, it was turned into a local café/grocery store. It is owned by the Wilson family now but has had many owners and has remained a hub of the community.
